puffin pony, the emphysema horse
Meet puffin pony, the the emphysema horse who smokes out of her tracheotomy hole. You wear puffin pony on your shoulder as a reminder not to smoke. When you go to get a cigarette out of your pack, puffin pony begins to wease and she shakes her head ‘no’ - thus, you think twice about smoking.

How did puffin pony come to be? For wearbles class, we had to hack a toy and make it into something wearble. With no idea what to make, I went to CVS and bought a couple of “my little pony” lolipop spinners, a singing/dancing easter bunny and a sleeping sheep toy that’s belly extended while it snored. When i took the switch out of the my little pony spinner, a gaping hole, the size of a smoke, was left in the neck. Also interestingly enough, the sound of the snoring sheep sounded like a weazing animal. Thus, I hacked together the sound element of the the sheep and the spinning pony head, making the pony head shake back and forth only after the animal weazed. I made the cigarette box and swtich so that the pony’s behavior is activated when the box is open.
